My Swede grandparents were all day and into the evening coffee drinkers. In the evening they always had a rusk with it before bed.
I’ve been a coffee drinker since about age 11 or 12 when I worked and hunted with my cousins on the ranch. Every day started very early with a big ranch breakfast and plenty of good coffee.
