R. Kelly found guilty of multiple racketeering and sex offenses

I was pretty unfamiliar with him prior to the media attention to the trial.  It sounds as if he had quite the promising career in R&B, and now he is looking at life in prison.

They aren't mutually exclusive although it may be hard to get studio time now. ;)

The evening news in the Chicagoland area has been over reporting everything about R.Kelly for years, he's the hometown hero. Fitting eh?

Why do we need to be polluted over and over again with hearing about his antics? So tiring.

Not as tiring as every news broadcast being

When at my mothers, she always has the local news on early then switches over to Fox or Newsmax.

I no longer even own a TV. My old one failed and I never got around to getting a replacement. I sort of fell into abandoning all media by accident more than conviction  =D

I understand that Mr. Kelly has future state and Federal court dates in Illinois for additional child pornography, child sex abuse, and child prostitution charges.  Paying off his accusers worked for Michael Jackson, I wonder if Mr. Kelly had tried that.
