Build Back Better!
« on: September 27, 2021, 05:37:44 PM »
A few of the items in Biden's $3.5T "build back better" plan:

$79 billion for increased tax enforcement. Couldn't they have just cut a $79 billion check to the IRS? I saw that they are moving the spying amount from $600 to potentially $10K, so I bet that piece of crap is going to pass.

I won't even comment on "tree equity".

Oh, and BTW, the newest talking point is that this whole $3.5T package will actually cost zero dollars.

79 B for tax enforcement tells you what's coming next

Tree Equity means there's too many White Oak, White Pine, and White Ash trees.  :P
Actually I think I know what they mean by it but it's still stupid.

For those of us who are slow, what is tree equity?

The trees are all kept equal, by hatchet, axe and saw.
For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

Supposedly, BIPOC communities don't have as many trees as wealthy white communities, thus they are hotter all the time.

Maybe they will go back and plant Elm trees in the cities with all of that money so they can be equal again. I am sure no one in the present administration knows why they are gone now.

Those were Dutch Elms.  Biden will be planting American Elms (grown in China), because he knows best.

It's unfair and absurd to say that companies would raise prices on goods and services if their tax burden and costs to do business went up.

Why do we even pretend the budget numbers matter?

You can only build back "better" after you destroy the previous system. They are well on their way with that plan.
A plan is just a list of things that doesn't happen.

3.5 trillion, inflation will only get worse and the infrastructure (actual infrastructure, not “human infrastructure”) will still suck just as badly

Supposedly, BIPOC communities don't have as many trees as wealthy white communities, thus they are hotter all the time.
Does that mean they will plant trees in those communities or cut down trees in other places?  Maybe that should be a poll question.   =D

This is creepy. They follow Sinema into a bathroom, filming everything. Even if you think it's okay to do this to a politician, there were several private citizens in there doing their business and they probably don't appreciate being all over the MSM and social media now. In fact it's probably a crime.

I heard some House R's were out trying to justify voting for red flag laws.  Some of them certainly would go for that.

The republicans are eager to get their pork in also so as soon as they are able to do that they will vote for it. Just like the wild spending sprees last year.
