Seriously though, some of us lost posts when we migrated from one software to another, maybe this software. I've been here from nearly the very beginning. I did take a long break from visiting/posting some years ago though, which also impacted post count.

I was the 104th member to sign up.

I never actually "joined" APS, although I used to get to it from the link in the upper right hand corner of The High Road (THR) site.  I just got carried along when the two split.

I'm still on Gun Rights Media (GRM) and the Hawaiian site (2ahawaii.com) but haven't posted on either for a couple of years.

I should slip over to 2ahawaii and see how much more the anti-gunners have corroded their rights.  One of their main problems, beside a wholesale unquestioning cultural acceptance of any authority, is that they're in the jurisdiction of the infamous Ninth Circuit Court woodshed.

The gunnies out there don't fall into the "wholesale acceptance" remark, but many of them still have a "loose scrutiny" (if you will) of gun laws compared to... ohhh, let's say, "words mean something, dammit" little old me.

There are a lot of military folks out there though, and I suppose they help balance things out.  Note the "suppose."

The story I heard was the original top level moderator got pissed off and left without telling anyone the password/key for the new staff to make any changes. It was getting funny to see the bots taking quotes from old posts to "legitimatize" their intrusion into the site.  Really a shame, all in all.
