Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving that’s free of family drama and full of good food!

Hope you all have a better Thanksgiving than I.  I work up last night with chills and a 101F fever.  =(

I was tested for covid on Monday, when I first noticed I had a sore throat.  That came back negative, so this is probably just the flu.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.  We have much to be thankful for...unless you are a Leftist, who are never happy, or a member of the Detroit Lions football team. :old:

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

Sorry to hear you are ill, Nick.  Glad your beer virus test came back negative.

Same wishes for a great holiday for everyone here!
No family here, just the wife and me, a fire in the fireplace, nice dinner planned with a bottle of good wine. Already worked splitting and stacking firewood this morning in anticipation of over eating.
Just watched a big whitetail doe with triplet fawns playing in the front yard while on the phone with the daughter 2000 miles away.
Life could be a lot worse.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving you guys.

Get well soon Nick.

Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead

We will have most of the clan here, except youngest daughter and her family. They all came down with something in the last few days. Oh, and grandson Jonathan, who is serving aboard a sub out of Bremerton WA.  Maybe 15 people in all will be here.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

Happy 400th Anniversary Thanksgiving!

I'm thankful no one's asking for vax cards at Thanksgiving dinner. Crossing state lines (!) into IL tomorrow, so please pray the cops don't catch me.

Happy Thanksgiving, folks !

"Already worked splitting and stacking firewood this morning in anticipation of over eating."

I thought of doing it that way once.  I kept putting the work  off until it was dinnertime anyway.  I didn't put off dinner.  Then I put off the work until the next day.

Worked much better that way.

Did a Santa pic with the owner of a brewpub a few blocks from me yesterday. He flipped me a mixed case, and I just polished off four 12 ounce cans of his porter and two big beef and cheese burritos.

Urp. Off to bed.
