I didn't watch the entire clip - was the battery pack still in the car? I've read that big automotive battery packs can leave a toxic stew behind when the case is breached . . .

If Hollywood people were blowing this up they would have put a couple of 5 gallon buckets of gasoline inside the car to generate a big fireball. (Hollywood thinks all explosions have fireballs.)

I skipped through it but I did hear the guy say the batteries and motors had been removed. It was mostly a shell. I was impressed with the slow-mo cameras capturing the shockwave.
