at 5:26 you see, in upper left hand side of frame, his security detail wears an old fashioned snap secured leather holster - straight out of the seventies - ridiculous for modern security, I wouldn't even use that for open carry

I heard someone mention (may have been here) that his security detail just stood there after the first shot.  If they had either surrounded the victim or charged the shooter, they might have prevented it.
