Temu vs. AliExpress
« on: April 13, 2024, 01:29:29 PM »
I read an article in the WSJ about Temu, and how older Americans are in love with the app and buying cheap PRC items.  I buy the occasional item on AliExpress and note how they are often 1/3rd the cost of the same item on Amazon.  Is there any significant difference between Temu and AliExpress?  I see a lot of the same items on each site.

I'm surprised. I would have thought that older Americans would be the least likely to be enamored of cheap PRC trash, and the most likely to want to buy American.

Temu works very well.

Clothing items don’t fit quite right but household goods, office stuff, and some electronic stuff works just fine. I buy a lot of my office organization stuff from Temu.
