A slightly different kind of 9/11 memorial thread
« on: September 11, 2022, 09:45:25 AM »
I stumbled across this twitter thread this morning while getting ready for drill weekend.  THere's lots of 9/11 rememberance going on at the .mil bases and centers around here today, but I liked this, even if it is two years old.

I challenge you to read it with dry eyes.

It is the smoke from the wildfires up here that made my monitor blurry after reading that.

This year's anniversary leaves me cold. I guess it's because there's no acknowledgement of the other enemy that controls Manhattan now, and is attacking our economy now. And has taken over the Pentagon, and is striking much more damaging blows to our military strength than a mere attack on a building.
