The San Antonio Police Department released video from the officer’s body camera that showed the incident outside a McDonald’s on Saturday night. The video, which is narrated by Alyssa Campos, the department’s training commander, begins with a statement saying: “As of this publication, the officer is not employed by the San Antonio Police Department. His employment was terminated after review of the incident.”

The video at the youtube link is better.  The officer was a rookie less than a year out of training.  Made it easier to fire I guess.  I have questions about some details, but they may not be important.  Not sure why the kid put the car in reverse, but surprising the kid by yanking his door open is not the way to draw a logical response.

Saw it on Mrgunsngear's Instagram.
