House Bill 1929, repealing Pennsylvania’s ban on automatic knives, passed the Senate today unanimously (50-0). The bill previously passed the House 202-1. HB 1929 now moves to Governor Wolf for his action.

I just saw this.  Do any of you know if the Gov is likely to sign off on it?

Well, given Tom Wolfe's track record as a gun grabbing, vax mandating, freedom quashing, big government loving, power grabbing, tax enacting, socialist affiliated hard left leaning liberal....

Sure, why not.

Pennsylvania Switchblade Ban Repeal Signed! Effective 1/2/2023

The repeal is effective on January 2, 2023. Until then possession of automatic knives remains (except as a curio)  illegal in Pennsylvania. We still have work to do in Pennsylvania; without knife law preemption, cities and towns can still prohibit automatic (and other) knives, and many do.

I am, quite literally, shocked.

I truly expected some long-winded bullshit screed from Wolfe about how Republicans wanted this so that they can stab their way through crowds of peace-loving liberals.

No, we just enjoy daydreaming about it.

I have a dream....
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

Samuel Adams
