Greg Bear, RIP
« on: November 21, 2022, 10:30:40 AM »
One of the finest hard science-fiction authors, Greg Bear, passed away due to complications after emergency cardiac surgery.  He lived in the Seattle area and I met him several times at book and convention events.

That's very sad news to me. Greg Bear has always been one of my favorites.

The name sounded familiar.  I read Moving Mars a while back.  A bit different, but a good book.

He wasn't one of my favorite authors, but I never passed up one of his books in the used book section.

71 is too young.
