SCOTUS opens Pandora's Box

SCOTUS orders handover of Trumps tax returns to Ways and Means Committee.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/supreme-court-orders-trumps-tax-returns-turned-over-house-democrats

If Republicans have a brain in their head, they will begin ordering tax returns for every prominent Dem the moment they convene after break. After all, the best way to get a bad decision reconsidered is to use it against the people who wanted it.

Fine.

All of congress, the judicial branch, and the executive branch have to turn over 10 years of tax returns before being elected or appointed to any office.

Not suggesting the court is in on it but the media is going to go hog wild on this. Because there is nothing to see with a billion dollar crypto scam that names a lot of the wrong names.

I used to be surprised at how stupid Rs can be.

Then I started to hear the term "the stupid party" and reallzed I was not alone in the wilderness with that opinion.

Now I take it for granted.

You hearing me, Ronna McDaniel?  You Rs need to do some breakthrough thinking... notably in the area of public indoctrination.

Stupid and complicit.  Or more likely stupidly complicit.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

Issuing subpoenas from committee is something I can see Republicans doing.  Depends on who the new Speaker appoints to the committees.

R's seem to have no problem investigating.  They just won't prosecute anyone or actually pass a good law.

It Texas, we'd say that a lot of the GOP leadership is all hat and no cattle.
Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.
